Steps to reproduce the bug

Navigate to Windows customization > File Explorer.
Turn off all toggles unled "File Explorer + Version Control" <- This is the default.
Click "Add Folder" in the "Add repositories" section.
Assigns "git" to the folder.

Expected result

All values are populated when I navigate to the folder.

Actual result

The additional columns are visible, but no data is present.

In a fresh run of DevHome, the options under "File Explorer + Version Control" are all off. I thought the feature was broken at first because file explorer had no additional information.

This is less a bug and more of "DevHome didn't work how I expected it to."

Thanks. I've been surprised by that as well. My gut feeling is that "Show version control information" and "Show the repository status" should be on by default. But I'm not sure about the overall "Enable File Explorer Version Control Integration" switch.

Also, it feels like when we switch the master "Enable File Explorer Version Control Integration" to the off position, the other two sub-toggles should be grayed out, as they can't have any effect if the master switch is off.

Looping in @ethanfangg to discuss the design (and review priority 2 vs priority 1). I suspect P2, as it doesn't really break anything, but is merely unintuitive. Still, it should be a very low-risk fix whatever we do.
