[BUG] Azure MCP search conflicts with Microsoft Learn MCP Server in Windsurf's Cascade

Copied over from Microsoft Docs feedback.

The Azure MCP server has a Search tool, which conflicts with the Microsoft Learn MCP tool (https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/mcp) which also has a Search tool. So the issue we're seeing is that Windsurf's Cascade can't run both MCP servers because there is a tool overlap.

Are you referring to the "documentation" tool in Azure MCP? If so, that tool is a proxy to Learn MCP endpoint (specifically the docs_search tool). This is likely due to Windsurfs sensitivity to de-duping tools, they may be reading off tool descriptions and determining that they are similar. We can take a closer look into this

Yes the Azure MCP's search tool is just a proxy to Learn MCP's microsoft_docs_search tool. Usually MCP clients will add server name as prefixes to tool names to avoid confliction. @diberry would you mind share a screenshot of the tool overlap error so we can have a better understanding of the issue?
