I think metro is the bundler for react native. Are you talking about using onnxruntime-web or onnxruntime-react-native?

I'm talking about using onnxruntime-web. I would have no issue if onnxruntime-react-native worked in react native. But onnxruntime-web 1.18.0 is the latest version of any onnxruntime that I can get to work in react native.

I see. Supporting react native is not a goal for onnxruntime-web because:

1. we have onnxruntime-react-native
2. the 2 current major backends in onnxruntime-web,
   • WebAssembly: is not expected to beat native CPU performance that offerred by onnxruntime-react-native
   • WebGPU: does not work in JSC
