The lag persists constantly after launching the software—typing, scrolling the mouse wheel, and clicking anywhere are all extremely unresponsive, making the software completely unusable. Thanks for the issue but I'm afraid we'd need more information.

Do you have an example project that causes the problem? What is your remote setup like? What exactly were you doing when you hit a slowdown?

The only thing that could cause a slowdown in the UI would be if Pylance was returning a LOT of information and your remote connection is poor. (Pylance actually runs on the remote machine). So we'd need to know details of what might be being sent.

I have multiple projects, and all of them experience lagging issues. What exactly do you mean by remote settings? When the lag occurs, I’m only typing normally and scrolling through the UI. Please note that all my operations become extremely laggy at that point. My remote network is excellent—it’s a local area network with a ping of less than 1 ms. Before I identified the problem with Pylance, I had a network engineer inspect it specifically. Could you please let me know exactly what information I need to provide and how to do it? Currently, I have disabled Pylance and the UI runs very smoothly. I originally set it to default, and I just changed it to jedi as you suggested. No lagging has occurred so far.
