I installed Visual Studio Community 2019 with .NET Core 3.0 Preview-6 SDK & runtimes.
I was able to install Microsoft.VisualStudio.Composition (v16.1.8), but when I went to install Microsoft.VisualStudio.Composition.AppHost (v16.1.8), I get the following Errors:

Ah, I see. I'm not sure we've ever tested the Microsoft.VisualStudio.Composition.AppHost on .NET Core apps.
Microsoft.VisualStudio.Composition itself should be fine though.

Thanks for this great product. I noticed with Microsoft.VisualStudio.Composition there are dependencies with .NETFramework. Is this likely to be removed thus it will run on pure .NETCore 3 only ?

As I mentioned, the Microsoft.VisualStudio.Composition package already works on .NET Core. Yes it has .NET Framework dependencies but that is just for one of its supported target frameworks.
