Backup and Restore Database Functionality

As per the announcement of this extension replacing ADS, will the built in backup and restore of databases functionality be carried over from ADS or is it recommended to use SSMS?

Personally, I would like to rely on SSMS as little as possible as the editing is far superior in ADS / VSCode and this is key functionality.

I loved used the bacpac extension in ADS. Can this please be added to this extension please? Must must must requirement.

@PureKrome Could you make a separate issue for the Bacpac extension? Backup/Restore uses .bak files to perform physical (server-side) tasks, but the Bacpac extension uses .dacpac/.bacpac files to perform logical (client-side) tasks.

They're similar on the surface, but quite different underneath!

Seeing that the latest SSMS v20.2 still doesn't support a proper dark theme and is painfully slow to boot, please make the regular backup/restore to .BAK files available (as an extension?) within VS Code, just like it is available in ADS.

Also, have you tried the SSMS 21 Preview yet? It has dark mode!
