With ADS retiring how are we to run Kusto queries in VSCode?

Is there an extension to run Kusto queries in VSCode directly against a Log Analytics database?

I have the same question as @jagdishrajan. I would rather use VS Code than Synapse Studio to execute KQL queries on Log Analytics.

Ideally such an extension would be able to query any Log Analytics database, any Application Insights resources and their underlying Log Analytics database, and Azure Data Explorer databases, just like the Kusto.Explorer application or Azure Data Studio can.
