Column Properties Panel Consumes Excessive Space

The Column Properties panel stays persistently open and takes up a significant portion of the screen, which reduces the usable area—especially problematic when working with tables containing many columns.

Proposed Solution:

• Replace the always-visible panel with a gear icon placed next to each column in the main designer grid.
• Clicking the gear icon should open the Column Properties panel for that specific column.
• This would allow users to keep the interface cleaner and open detailed settings only when needed.

Expected Behavior:

• The Column Properties panel is hidden by default and only opens when explicitly triggered via the gear icon.
• Users can focus on the columns grid without distractions from a large, always-visible side panel.
