Inquiry regarding the roadmap and recent activity

Hi everyone,

I love the concept of Copilot writing code directly via GitHub Issues. Since the last merged PR was on Nov 14, I was wondering if there is a public roadmap or if development has moved elsewhere?

I’d love to know if this project is still "alive" as I’m keen to see where this technology goes next!

Wassette is still “alive.” We do share our focus across multiple open source projects in a given moment, but development is ongoing. In fact, we’ve continued releasing updates (latest is v0.4.0 on Feb 4, 2026) and you can follow progress via the Releases/CHANGELOG. We don’t have a polished public roadmap doc yet. The best “source of truth” right now is the Issue list.

If there’s a particular capability you’re excited about, feel free to comment with your use case (or open a focused issue if it doesn’t exist yet). Community feedback helps us prioritize, and PRs are always welcome. Also, if you’d like to chat with maintainers/community, there’s a #wassette channel on the Microsoft Open Source Discord (linked from the repo README).
