Mihon crashes upon completely new installation

Steps to reproduce

1. Install app via ADB
2. Open app through home screen

Expected behavior

1. App opens
2. I can view local manga, view online manga, etcetera

Actual behavior

1. Black screen
2. App closes

I am unable to upload the crash logs because the app crashes before I can dump them.

I have seen user zomgimobbq's issue. Given that their issue was seemingly solved by turning off automatic backup, I believe this issue is different given that I cannot open the app to enable it in the first place.

1. Why adb and not the normal way?
2. If you can handle adb, you can handle logcat. Observe logcat while you start Mihon to see what it spits out.

Note, not a knowledgeable contributor/programmer, but just a minute of skimming the 3063 lines of logs, it looks like either you've removed Google Play Services from your device (or a custom ROM, or just removing basic Android functionalities) or the device so ass that it can't load a splash screen properly.

Yes, the device does not have Google Play Services. Is there a previous version of mihon or some other app that does not requrire Google Play Services?

Download the FOSS build of Mihon in our GitHub Releases page, Mihon has anonymous analytics/crash reporting for analytics & crash reporting. If it still crashes, then it's probably something with your device that's broken.

provide the full logcat and not the filtered version. also include the timestamp from when you start the app and the crash happens
