[Problem]: Can't build Classic Shairport due to make error

What happened?

While trying to build Classic Shairport (on Raspi Zero) during the build instruction I encounter this issue after the step:

$ ./configure --sysconfdir=/etc --with-alsa \
    --with-soxr --with-avahi --with-ssl=openssl --with-systemd-startup --with-ffmpeg

(runs normally but at the end returns: configure: error: AirPlay 2 support requires the uuid library -- uuid-dev suggested, this is possibly the culprit for the make command failing?)

$ make

make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found.  Stop.

Expected make command to run. Thx for looking into this!

Thanks for the post. You are correct -- that is why the make step isn't working.

The configure error is due to a mistake in the configuration setup. As a temporary workaround, please go ahead and install the uuid-dev library. This will satisfy the configuration script and allow the Makefile to be created. Then you will be able to build Classic Shairport Sync.

Meantime, we'll fix the configuration error, though it may take a little while.

(The oversight leading to the configuration bug was probably because testing the building of Classic Shairport Sync was being done on a system that had already been used to build the AirPlay 2 version, and thus had the library already installed -- apologies.)
