Hey all, I have done some searching, checked my config, cleared and Oathed. Still regularly getting the 429 errors. Is that just the cost of doing business, or should it be avoidable?

Check the --verbose output if it is actually using your custom client-id

$ gallery-dl --verbose https://www.deviantart.com/justatest235723/art/Test-798674877
...

If it is, try using some delays with --sleep and --sleep-request.

I know this is a year old, but did you also put the "refresh-token" : "" in your config file?
