using yt-dlp to download twitter videos

how can i take twitter art script and integrate yt-dlp (along with whatever yt-dlp flags i use) for mp4/videos?

I have a seperate yt-dlp script that i run on individual video links but yt-dlp cannot scrape media pages like galley-dl can, which is why i want to know if i can integrate yt-dlp into my script for handling video files.

thank you. i'm such a goof, didn't know it would be so simple.

how would i pass some ytdlp flags? these two to be specific

--add-metadata --merge-output-format "mkv"
