Why aren't these features available in Lua? I would also like to see GetBoundingClientRect, because I can't get the real borders of the element due to transformations.

P.S. Element.client_left and Element.client_top always return 0

No particular reason as far as I know. The Lua plugin is for the most part user-contributed, if you think it makes sense to add these I'll happily take some pull requests.

I can't reproduce this, this gives me the correct border width in the quick tests I did.

Thanks for responding. My element has display: block and it is a flex-children (I also tried other values for display, box-sizing and flex)

What happens if you give it e.g. border: 5px yellow;?
