Doesn't work when installed as a systemd service

I tried installing this as a systemd service and rebooting my machine, but it exits with an error. journalctl shows:

If it helps: to make it work with systemd I had to run it as a user service

I'm use linux mint 22 Cinnamon, it not work for me too. (Both systemctl enable and systemctl --user enable)

So I add it into startup applications like follow

Works for me as a user service. Probably doesn't work as a system service because the root user isn't running an xsession.

systemctl --user start xmousepasteblock.service works for me:
