PortaSplit beeps on change on silent mode

I have the beeping on change turned of in the device config. However, when enabling/disabling outdoor silent mode the device beeps nonetheless.

Is it only the outdoor silent mode that beeps? Or do all settings changes beep?

Somehow only the outdoor silent mode. Just rechecked, f.e. rate select doesn't make it beep.

You two have PortaSplits and specifically use the Outdoor Silent Mode. Have you noticed this behavior too?

@mill1000 Cannot confirm this behavior. I always have the sound turned off. Currently on the latest firmware.

@mill1000 same here, but if I recall correctly I had seen such behavior as well at beginning when I tried to turn off beeps. I think both Midea integrations were not handling the beep on/off mode successfully with my device. I think I used the SmartHome to turn beeps off successfully, and haven’t touched it anymore after that. So possibly there’s some glitch with the current implementation of the on/off feature.
