Miller columns for find-file?

Is it possible to display the results from find-file in a column view? (something like the Miller column view in Mac OS's finder?)

This would be kinda like vertico-grid, but there would have to be forward and backward directory searches to populate the columns. Probably that would make it out of scope?

No, this does not seem easily possible since find-file only displays files from the current directory. Of course one could write a custom UI specifically for files, but this is out of scope of Vertico.
