Make new tab disappear if I give up on entering a url

It's just me being a weirdo, but when I click to open a new tab and then I give up and click on another tab, it stays there with a blank screen doing nothing, so it annoys me a lot lol. I mean, in other browsers there is always some sites to be chosen from a new tab, or some info panels, but here it's just a blank screen, so why not make it close automatically when I click away from the tab?
