The issue is that there's not even a full-fledged manual on this site. User contributions are much welcomed.

One rather simple approach could be to write a Lua script that translates the Markdown format into hypertext (Luanti formspec element), such that it's only necessary to have the documentation in one place, but display them wherever needed.
