when trying to sync repo i get this error:

When you try to sync WHAT repo? What commands are you using? Please provide a complete explanation of what you're doing if you actually want help.

repo init --depth=1 -u https://github.com/minimal-manifest-twrp/platform_manifest_twrp_omni.git -b twrp-9.0
repo sync

i'm using manjaro

Might be a distro problem, then. I can only say that I know it works fine on Ubuntu.

when i change the python version to 2.7 and tryo: repo sync i get:
repo sync File "/usr/local/bin/repo", line 51 def print(self, *args, **kwargs): ^ SyntaxError: invalid syntax
while in the readme:
"Before building, make sure you have your system's python implementation set to python2. This project was created before python2 was deprecated and will not build with python3."

i tried to remove this folder: /home/pc/twrp/.repo/projects/frameworks/compile/libbcc.git
and the first error is not showing now
and i tried the same thing with this folder: '/home/pc/twrp/.repo/projects/prebuilts/gcc/linux-x86/x86/x86_64-linux-android-4.9.git
but the error still saying:
