This is the community hub for everyone building, using, and shaping AceTalks: developers, speech-language pathologists, parents, caregivers, teachers, AAC users, and anyone who believes communication is a right, not a privilege.

What this space is for:

🗣️ General — Introductions, questions, and anything that doesn't fit elsewhere. Start here if you're new.

💡 Feature Requests — An idea for a new tile category, a language you need, a feature that would change things for the person you support. Every request is read.

🌍 Language & Translation — Help us get vocabulary right. Native speakers reviewing existing translations, proposing new languages, and catching cultural gaps make the app genuinely useful rather than just technically multilingual.

📋 Board Sharing — Share custom boards you've built. A food board for a Thai-speaking family, a school routine board, a feelings board for a 6-year-old — these help other families get started faster.

🩺 Therapist & Clinician Corner — A space for SLPs, occupational therapists, and other clinicians to discuss implementation, share evidence-based feedback, and shape the clinical side of the app.

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent & Caregiver Hub — For families supporting AAC users. Questions, wins, frustrations, and everything in between. You don't need to be technical to belong here.

🐛 Bug Reports — Something broke or isn't working the way you expected. (For urgent communication failures, please also open a GitHub Issue with the critical label.)

A few things we believe here:

Every voice matters — including the ones that communicate through symbols, pictures, switches, and screens.

Lived experience is expertise. If you use AAC yourself, or care for someone who does, your perspective shapes this product more than any technical decision.

This community is multilingual by design. English is not required. Post in the language you're most comfortable in.
