Question: What's the necessary configuration for custom proxy minions?

I have a couple of custom proxy minion configuration files in place (proxy, module, states, grains) and the super proxy doesn't seem to load the files from the file_roots directories. Any pointers?

Using salt-sproxy==2023.8.0 and salt==3004.2
