I have an idea to seed it up 10-30 times.

The fx2lp can use GPIF to drive port B (or other ports).
As of now the JTAG speed is constrained at around 1 MHz (the shift out alone takes 40 CPU cycles.
With GPIF that could be 30x faster.

Any thoughts? Useless or do I proceed?
