I have collected additional information that may help identify the broadcasting crash.
Environment
Built-in broadcasting
MP3 192 kbps
Centova Cast server
Observed behavior
During broadcasting, the connection to the streaming server repeatedly fails.
The log shows multiple consecutive retries with:
ShoutConnection - processConnect() error: -10 "Connection establishment time-out"
followed by automatic retry attempts (waitForRetry()).
Shortly afterwards, Mixxx crashes.
The attached macOS crash report shows:
Crashed Thread: ShoutConnection
Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
I am not sure whether the repeated connection timeouts are the root cause of the crash or simply a symptom, but I hope this information is helpful for your investigation.
