Guid and byte[] in Kafka

Hi David, some other questions today...

Why do you manipulate Guid and byte[] instead of strings in your Consumer/Producer Kafka implementation ? Is it for performance ?

I have sometimes deserialization issues during interoperability whith other stacks and i wonder if OpenSleigh would be better to use simple string to make life easy ?

what is exactly causing you issues, Guid or byte[] ? Would it be better if it was <byte[], byte[]> ?

My purpose was badly exposed, i'm sorry.

Rather than using strings, do you think that OpenSleigh can permit to parametrize the object type we use for Keys and Values ? Or is it already possible whith DI ?

not sure that would be super easy to do, based on the current implementation. I'll think about it, but feel free to propose a design if you want!
