Welcome to Open OSCAR Server

Open OSCAR Server (OOS) is an open-source server compatible with AIM, bringing legacy AIM and ICQ clients back to life.

Note: This project is independent and not affiliated with AOL or Yahoo.

Provide a reliable backend for community-run servers
Encourage experimentation, documentation, and education around legacy network protocols
