Thank you and question about the future

Hello Mark,
thank you very much for all your work! Sad to read in the description, that you will no longer have time to maintain this repository.
I'm relatively new to programming and I was wondering how risky it is to continue using your viewer, at least for the next 1-2 years?

Do you expect things to break quickly? Or do you think with minimal maintenance, I could keep it running for quite a while by myself?
I'm asking because I was working on a project based on your viewer since quite some time...and it is just not the right time for me to switch underlying technology right now.
