FEATURE: Sensor Minimum Duration

When in a room with a motion sensor, this often triggers repeatedly in a short space of time as motions becomes active/inactive every few seconds.

This has knock-on effects on other plugins (eg. homebridge-alexa) which reports many status updates which end up being throttled.

It may be sensible to add a minimumDuration setting (or similar) which could be used to prolong motion events reported to homebrige to say 30 seconds. Only after 30 seconds of inactivity would the motion state be cleared.

This would also facilitate better rules around actions taken upon cessation of motion.

I want to second this request with a slight twist. I currently have my motion sensor disabled due to false alarms. I probably should replace the sensor. Searching the logs, I can see these alarms are triggered very short duration events. I suspect it is sunlight hitting the IR sensor in late afternoon. Would be great to have a persistence test with time duration selection option to apply to an alarm trigger

I think that a throttle time option would solve both scenarios generically – the first in a specific and direct way, and the second in a more general way for edge cases. @rotax1 in your case, it's more of a "moving target" scenario and I can't say that this couldn't be solved by other means (hardware, physical setup or otherwise) as you did say that you should probably replace the sensor anyhow.
