What's the difference between Whisper-Turbo, Whisper-large-v3-turbo, Whisper-large-v3-mlx

What is the difference between Whisper-Turbo, Whisper-large-v3-turbo, and Whisper-large-v3-mlx?
Are they all the same?
Is Whisper-Turbo simply another name for the mlx version of Whisper-large-v3-turbo, meaning that Whisper-large-v3-mlx is not the turbo version?

whisper-turbo and whisper-large-v3-turbo are the same

whisper-large-v3-mlx is a slightly older and larger model. I think you should prefer the turbo model because they are faster and just as good quality.

"whisper-turbo and whisper-large-v3-turbo are the same" < if these two are the same, why two repositories? Should I use whisper-turbo instead of whisper-large-v3-turbo? The difference I noticed is the file format. Whisper-turbo uses .npz and large-v3-turbo uses .safetensornets. Does that matter?

I doesn't really matter which you use. I prefer safetensors in general because they will load faster.. but other than that they should be the same.
