Pages Router

It's a cool example but I'm having issues porting it to Pages router. I think it simply requires pages/index.js to have the AppShell and then pages/[all].js to also have AppShell? But it doesn't appear to re-render pages properly as I navigate along (non-index pages), and I'm not sure how to test animation transitions. I'm also integrating with next-intl so I have a [locale] dynamic route beneath it, which makes things even more complicated. Is there some explanation to how exactly this works to enable the React Router and overrite the NextJS router so they aren't clashing
