How do I update the theme?

I'm trying to update the theme from 4.24.0 to 4.26.2. I am hosting on Github Pages and using the remote_theme. I'm not seeing the theme update locally or on Github Pages.

What do I need to do update the theme?

When I view the page source, it has the following:

When I run bundle exec jekyll serve I get the following:
