Overview

At least twice in the past year, some or all --exit tests have failed in one matrix config, while the same tests in other configs pass. The tests pass on rerun.

Very rare but worth tracking, should be easy to just increase timeout.

Agreed. It's rare but very annoying when it happens. And the combined instability with #5361 in general is inconvenient.
