Connection Average Decreases While Connected #53
Description
First, I love the concept of this mod, and I've had a lot of fun with it so far! I just finished setting up a MEO constellation with global coverage and lower than geostationary latency to any point on Earth. I'm on RP-1 with an extensive mod list.
I've seen two issues which I think are separate but related bugs. I didn't take screenshots, though, and I don't have logs, so it's just the descriptions below.
First, I've had times every connection becomes listed as disconnected, and my connectivity drops. This has happened in the space center before, and switching to the tracking station or to some other buildings has fixed it. My thought is basically the connectivity program crashed, and defaulted everything to disconnected, even though they connected correctly once re-loaded.
Second, now that I have 100% coverage, I expected my coverage percent to increase. It lists me as fully covered for the 7 day average, but the 90 day average sometimes decreases instead of increasing, which makes me think the system hasn't crashed but may be bugged. When this happens, all systems report good connection, but the rolling average decreases. This has made it hard to exceed 95% coverage. And the issue isn't my constellation- that has built in redundancy to keep me at 100%. When this happens, it's across multiple connections, not just one.
Anyway, I'm sure that's not entirely helpful, without logs or screenshots. Let me know what I can do to help! I'll see if I can take screenshots once I unbrick my save file...
