This does not work as soon as going beyond 1.20.1. They did not change anything on that version, but any version going beyond that they have done major overhauls to old systems, meaning compatibility between forge and neoforge onwards is not a thing - you can be very lucky to find a mod that works, but as more time passes those chances will get slimmer and slimmer |

I'd like to use neoforge as my launcher, and I also want neoforge mods to be installed when available, as they're optimized for neoforge specifically. That being said, neoforge is designed with forge compatibility in mind, so when you're installing content into a neoforge installation, even if a neoforge version of that specific mod isn't available for the specified version, if there's a forge version available, the mod should still be able to be installed and show up, with the forge counterpart. This would make the library much larger, and there wouldn't be compatibility issues given that neoforge was built upon forge's backbone.
