Unable to Change Directory in Modrinth App

Pretty much what the title says. I recently moved my minecraft install to a different drive to save space and improve speed. However, when I try to change the directory in my modrinth app, nothing changes. It tries to reinstall .minecraft in the default directory as well as all the mods. It says that changes will take effect when I restart the launcher, but they don't. The allocated memory also doesn't save.
