We plan to release MF stable version in Jan,2026. And the roadmap is as below:

Wonderful to see that stabilizing 1.0 includes Metro! @jbroma. @Nsttt make sure you stay close to the edge worker, pure node, and treeshaking stuff.

great to heart that! The treeshaking stuff needs some research, we probably need to do some deeper integration for Metro as well like reusing stuff from SDK instead of duplicating it

We are really seeing good benefits with MF 2.0. Is the roadmap finalized? Can we use mf 2.0 as-is in the production or is it advised to use only after the stable version release?

There is no removal of features slated for the stabilization so you will be fine going to prod.

What's the version guarantee for the bundled files? If I use the Vite plugin to bundle a Micro Frontend using e.g. 0.22, is that guaranteed to work with later versions of module-federation?
