Summary
modx.com has improved the extra submission form and it now generates markdown for package descriptions, instructions etc.
The package manager in MODX doesn't parse the markdown and just outputs the text as one big block. This is the same for both MODX 2 and MODX 3.

Why is it needed?
Unformatted text is difficult to read and this page especially should be easy to skim when a developer is deciding on which extra to use.
Suggested solution(s)
Parse the markdown so it formats correctly.
