<div class="titolorobot">Why Mobular?</div></div>
<p>We started by analyzing the most polluted areas of the earth after the last report of the United Nations program (UNEP) found that each square kilometer of ocean contains on average 63,320 particles of microplastic. The Mediterranean is one of the most polluted seas in the world since it containes 7% of the global microplastics. With such alarming data we could not just stop and stare and thanks to a team of scientists, programmers, engineers and marine biologists we created the Mobular project.</p>

<div class="titolorobot">How Does It Work?</div>
<p>Mobular is a zero-impact robot, thanks to its solar panels arranged along the upper part of the back. The robot inside it's shell contains The plastic absorption system (SAP), a tank to collect microplastics, a GPS receiver and sensors...</p>

<div class="titolorobot">How does the SAP works?</div>
<p>The SAP was born thanks to the discovery of the young Fionn Ferreira who created a magnetic liquid able to attract the plastic with a mixture based on oil and magnetite (iron oxide powder). In the presence of water the ferrofluid attracts microplastics due to the non-polar properties of both components.</p>
<div class="titolorobot">How we are founded?</div>
<p>Mobular is a non-profit association that, thanks to the help of associations, volunteers, donors and numerous scholars,
Our project is aimed at everyone that cares about the problem of pollution and wants to take action and carry out concrete actions.
Mobular creates and participates as a partner in many events such as beach cleaning and plastic caps collection.
