it would be great to have access to docs without having to leave maiden. one approach might be a docked "help" or "docs" panel, a la supercollider's help browser

reposting from lines...

Suggestion: Adding a sidebar panel in maiden which links to the existing dust docs.

Ideally using some kind of md- -> html converter (maybe http://showdownjs.com ) so the text doesn't need to be reformatted.

I'd take a poke at it, but I'm kinda confused by the structure of the main maiden webview and I'm not sure where specifically all the action is happening.

is the thinking that this would be an view which is largely independent from whatever is selected in the script area or is the idea that it would be context sensitive?

great question. i was thinking mostly independent with links (or some other explicit action) to support navigation from docs to relevant source.
