LiliyGo T-DISPLAY S3 AMOLED gif question.

Does anyone have any tips or up to date guide for easiest way of adding gifs to this board?

I followed this guide, successfully compiled and uploaded sketch via LittleFs. Zero errors and still, nothing shows up on my display. Just black screen.

Tried board settings recommended by LiliyGo and settings recommended by the guide. Made no difference.

Tried running PDQgraphicstest - same thing. Black screen.

The only thing I successfully managed to run is LiliyGo version of PDQgraphicstest.

Any advice would be appreciated.

If you want any help, you need to post way more details about your setup. Show your code, name the version of the esp32 library installed under Board Manager. What version of Arduino_GFX. If you have a working setup and then a different sketch doesn't work, what did you change? What are the errors?

Since this really a question about that hardware config, you might get more help on reddit.
 
One quick thing is if the backlight is off, it can look like the display is not working at all.

Good answer, though I would suggest that the OLED doesn't use a backlight ;-)
