Scanning endlessly on install

I tried installing the desktop version on Linux Mint, but it just scans endlessly and doesn't appear to do anything. I tried to launch from terminal as well and it seems to do the same.

same thing is happening to me. it locked up on install and i had to restart. then when i returned and reran the .desktop file its just endless scanning

How to uninstall manually the files it already made/downloaded?
