Non-gui version?

As part of avoiding distractions, I'm trying to migrate as much as possible to the command line. How hard would it be to have a CLI version option that doesn't call the GUI?

I will try to make a barebones version of it which will be strictly CLI and separate itself from this messy CLI+GUI kinda weird situation.
Im not getting enough free time to maintain this project.
I will do a makeover of this from scratch after my exams.
