Status reads "CAPT:Unable to communicate with printer" with LBP2900B, Raspberry Pi Zero W running Raspberry OS Lite 32 bit

Hello, thank you for creating something that I would specifically need for this job. I followed every step mentioned in the Building and Installing guide and every command worked without errors. However, when I try to print a test page, this is the job status I get each time after it shows "Processing Page 1". Below are the details of the setup and the versions of everything.

Raspberry Pi Zero W
Raspberry Pi OS Lite (flashed onto the micro SD card from the Pi Imager)
CUPS 2.4.2

I read a few of the already existing issues and I could only understand one suggestion that wouldn't work for me - couldn't run Ubuntu on Zero W because it's not supported.

I'm a complete noob when it comes to this stuff and this was the first Raspberry Pi I bought (just a week ago). Not sure what else I need to do here to try and fix this, or even just know if it's not going to be fixed at all. Any direction would be appreciated, thanks!

I tried this on Zero 2 W running on Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS 32 bit, and it worked flawlessly! Thank you so much for making something so amazing!
