Why is my fork running the GitHub actions

I looked at my fork of firefox-ios on Github yesterday for the first time in a while. Since I've been gone, it was littered with branches relating to string importing - (e.g 'string-import-2023-02-06') going back many months. Today it also gained 'automation/update-nimbus-experiments`.

So it looks like my fork is exactly mirroring the behaviour of the original repo and doing various predetermined actions.

How do I stop this?

Ha! as is often the case, just after asking something you figure it out yourself. Stupidly I was looking in the Actions section for a way to disable them, but it seems its in the main settings:
