Develop a preflight check list for new EMR releases #957
Description
The list should contain a step by step guide to confirm the functionality of ATMO, possibly run by QA personnel to confirm a new release of EMR doesn't affect the current high-level functionality of ATMO.
- If all check list items pass, the new EMR release is added to ATMO as the new default option.
- If one or more check list items fail, the EMR release is either added as a experimental option to ATMO (depending on the scope of failure) or prevents adding the release at all.
- If an unknown result is found during the check, the EMR release is not added to ATMO and the checklist amended with a new item.
This relates to #932 and other issues that dealt with adding new EMR versions to ATMO.
