Thank you for your interest in contributing to LoonBox, a project of MPLS LLC ("Company"). This Contributor License Agreement ("Agreement") documents the rights granted by contributors to the Company.
"Contribution" means any original work of authorship, including any modifications or additions to an existing work, that is submitted to the project for inclusion. "Submitted" means any form of communication sent to the project (pull request, patch, issue comment containing code, etc.).
"You" (or "Contributor") means the individual or legal entity submitting a Contribution.
You hereby grant to MPLS LLC a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute your Contributions and any derivative works thereof. This includes the right to relicense under different terms, including proprietary licenses.
You hereby grant to MPLS LLC a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer your Contributions, where such license applies only to patent claims licensable by you that are necessarily infringed by your Contribution alone or by combination of your Contribution with the project to which it was submitted.
You retain ownership of the copyright in your Contributions. This Agreement does not transfer ownership; it only grants the licenses described above.
You represent that:
(a) You are legally entitled to grant the above licenses.
(b) Each Contribution is your original creation, or you have sufficient rights to submit it under the terms of this Agreement.
(c) If your employer has rights to intellectual property that you create, you have received permission to make Contributions on behalf of that employer, or your employer has waived such rights.
(d) You are not aware of any third-party claims, liens, or encumbrances on your Contributions.
You understand that the decision to include your Contribution in the project is entirely at the discretion of MPLS LLC, and this Agreement does not create an obligation to use or include any Contribution.
By submitting a pull request to this project, you indicate your agreement to the terms of this CLA. First-time contributors will be asked to explicitly confirm their agreement via a comment on their pull request.
