I have a similar issue. For a DVD I own, the vob file ballooned and took up all 90GB of disk space I had available on my system, and then errored out because the disk was full. Below is the output. The resulting file is: |

Yes I did, and it worked (the file was about 5GB). Because of that similarity, I decided to add my comment to this issue. |

mpv dvd://i --stream-dump=filename.vobseems to produce corrupt output. Players like VLC show an incorrect length, and there are navigation issues. ffmpeg shows warnings.mplayer dvd://n -dvd-device /dev/sr0 -dumpstream -dumpfile filename.vobon the other hand produces valid output, but it has issues with hardware management.See also https://gist.github.com/mara004/b3f0a3535382e232e729614ad4edca87 (comments)
