I don't like using a dedicated gpu for video playback, as it wastes wattage and heat (Mine is bad with heat) when the integrated gpu does it just fine and more efficiently. DRI_PRIME=0 didn't work, and trying to force it with corectrl profiles (By disabling the dgpu for the mpv binary) didn't do anything. It's not that I can't use it (It gets a bit bad with too high res videos, but that's it) but it seems like obvious surface for me to optimize my setup. |
