How to play HDR content on a HDR Display Correctly

My monitor is AW3425DW I put the HDR settings on monitor to true black 400, enabled HDR in windows settings and the stream HDR content option. I'm using windows 10. But whenever I play HDR content the colours are washed out and somewhat dim. The video I specifically used to test was violet evergarden the movie (hdr ver) the mediainfo has HDR values under video tab.

Mpv config I'm using gpu-next.
Opening the video and using ctrl+I shows tat video is doing HDR play since it's not BT.709.

Color looks much better in non hdr on bt.709 than BT.2020.

Also I find out something not sure if it's a bug or not but doing F (full screen) rapidly the color changes, sometimes there's a tint of sort other times there's not.

I can drop the media info exact values and ctrl+I values when I'm playing later if it's needed.

will the hdr pass look right with the one u gave since im seeing some difference of video stats.
