Field Value
Project Name Community Consensus QC for MRS
Description A major barrier to broader adoption of MRS is the unintuitive nature of spectra, as opposed to images, meaning that data QC requires expert review. There are a limited number of MRS-trained experts, and meaning that too many MRS studies fail due to insufficient, or excessively variable, data quality. The purpose of this project is to build a platform for collecting expert ratings of MR spectral quality, using the existing Swipes architecture, and ultimately to train this knowledge into neural networks for expert-free expert-level data feedback. The data collection platform will serve a need beyond the collection phase for training MRS learners, and the resulting quality scores will be available to include in analysis packages, such as Osprey and FSLMRS and for implementation during on-scanner recon for instant feedback within the scan session.
